Who's Runnin them? I'm thinking about getting a set when I buy my GTO next month but wanna hear your feedback on them, I'd be definitely getting the catless mids with them as well and most likely a corsa sport catback..
But for you all that are running Kooks Long Tubes how do you like them and what kind of performance gains did you get?

I am running the LT's with the catless mids! Everyone's opinion is differnt of what mufflers to use. I have heard a few goats with the Corsa, IMO they were a little raspy for me at WOT.  I ended up going with the Magniflows and love them. quite at idle with no drone, but at WOT they are damn loud.

A lot other people say go with Pacesetters, however thats just because they are the cheapest ones you can get. With all the homework I have done My findings are as fallows

For performance all the Headers are going to be close in Hp gains, However the big difference is in the Fit&Finish

#1) Kooks
#2) stainless works
#3) SLP
#4) PaceSetters

Not sure what kind of numbers I gained because I did everything at once! However I am very happy with how easy the install was. Also I would recomend that you buy the GM header gaskets. They are much better then the Kooks gaskets! Trust me on this. If you use the Kooks gaskets you will be replacing them!

I work near Scottsdale Rd & Mcdowell. I live at Power & Ray. If you want to meet up over the weekend you could see/hear my goat and judge for yourself what you think.

Yeah Alot of people I've heard say go with pacesetters but I'm looking for a quality Header with good performance gains so I think Kooks are the ones for me...I heard they came out with a new signature stepped series of them with even better gains as well...sounds like thats what I'm going to be getting...
And yes I'll have to hear yours here soon so I can judge how well it sounds! Theres no doubt in my mind that it sounds great!

You get what you pay for! For most people its a cost thing, and everyone is trying to save a few bucks.  However to spend thousands of dollars on a muscle car, IMO no point on cutting corners when it comes to something as important as headers.

I just bought some Kooks LT's 1 3/4 and Kooks Catless mids... I'll be getting the headers in about 2 weeks, and hopefully soon there after getting them installed...Pretty excited about getting them put on! I'm gonna stick with the stock catback for now since the resonator has been removed and an x pipe has been put in place of it.

Very cool, I'm sure you will be happy. Just a reminder, buy the GM Header gaskets. The kooks set tend to leak. Grin
